The Study Process
Four simple steps to complete your participation.
1. Schedule Your Session
Choose a convenient time. Available days: Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Time slots: Between 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Duration: 15–30 minutes.
2. Pre-Survey
Complete a short survey including basic information, your familiarity with AI tools, your typical search habits, and the type of service you'll search for.
3. Participate In-Person
Visit us at409 Canal St, Plantsville, CT 06479. Complete your search session while we record prompts used, time spent, and your decision-making process.
4. Exit Survey
You will answer questions about your search experience: Did you accomplish your goal? Were you satisfied? What factors influenced your decision?
Yes. Participants must have used ChatGPT before to participate in this study.
How long does the study take?
Each session lasts approximately 15–30 minutes, depending on your search process.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. All equipment will be provided on-site. Just bring yourself!
Is this study in person or remote?
This is an in-person study conducted at our Plantsville, CT office at 409 Canal St.
How will I receive my incentive?
You will receive a $25 VISA gift card immediately after completing your session.
What type of services will I search for?
You will select from a list of service-based businesses during the pre-survey. Examples include home services, healthcare providers, restaurants, and more.
